I've been coming to the Valley View for nearly 30 years. My family has stayed here, I have, I love it. The bathrooms are small. If that's an issue then be prepared. Otherwise the management is friendly and helpful and lives on site. They've got WiFi. Walking distance from a decent little Mexican restaurant. It's dated, shows it's age, but for a low rate it more than serves the purpose. If you're expecting a Hilton, move on. If you're expecting a cheap place to stay, more than worth it.
Very accommodating old style mom and pop road side motel. Very clean and a restaurant right across the street. Bathroom is kinda small but for the price and a place with no issues of being messed with, at least we didn't have any problems, its a vintage experience that I'm in to.
Our car broke down just outside of town and severe storms rolled in. The owner of the local DK drove us to this motel. All I can say is this place was a miracle! Very clean and amazing hospitality. The owner helped us get our car going the next morning. I'm glad we stayed the night and our family will be back just to stay at this hidden gem again. Even had Ruku!
We had an immediate need for a clean, warm room for me and my small pet, to make it to work on time in Celiina. We were welcomed warmly, and will stay there again if the need arises. It was very peaceful and am thankful the TV, desk, and shower was hot and powerful .
This place is a hidden gem in Celina. Safe, clean and the best value! The room was dated but very clean!! Linens were clean and awesome pillows! I love finding places like this off the beaten path. Much better than a run down corporate owned LaQuinta or Holiday Inn that does not appreciate your business.
I was pleasantly surprised with this motel, the rooms are very clean and cozy. The people that run this place are very nice. This is what I would call a throwback motel. The area is very quiet and peaceful.
We have stayed in this motel many times over the past 50+ years. The service is excellent. Accommodations are great. Rooms are large, people are friendly and location is central to town and lake. I highly recommend The Valley View Motel.
I have been staying at the Valley view since I was a little kid with my family. Now I am all grown up and my kids like staying there. My daughter loves staying there, whenever we come to that area. She always insist that we stay in the Valley view. The rooms aren’t the Ritz but that’s ok. They are always clean and comfortable. Nina is amazing. There’s not much to do in Celina except visit family or go to the lake, and the Valley view is an excellent place to stay for both of those activities. While you’re in town check out Ollies and Dale Hollow Pizza. It’s a quiet little motel in a quiet little town.
Rooms are always so clean. The beds are very comfy the bathrooms are a tiny bit small but when you are in the area to fish and use them just to sleep they are 10/10. Food in the area is nice the ice shacks are a plus in the area and the service has always been amazing.
Nice clean, standard rooms. Nothing fancy , but perfectly designed an comfortable..nice charming, quaint room . I like it, an would recommend, to anyone staying in Celina , TN on business or etc...Also, the rates are good for this area.
